Cathy and I were sad to learn of Steve's passing. I car pooled with Steve to Kodak for a number of years and also enjoyed Jaycees. We know Steve had many, many friends and a wonderful family and we are thinking of them at this time.

My sister, Anne Marie, was so happy to be a member of Stephen & Marlene's wedding party! Only a few months after her massive brain hemorrhage, they still included her, which was very motivating toward her recovery. I will be praying for God to comfort and strengthen you all, as you grieve your loss.

To the Family of Mr. Maier: Having recently learned of the loss of another dear loved one, I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences. When someone we love falls asleep in death, the heartache is very great. May you find comfort in knowing that Our Creator (Psalm 83:18) cares for us (1 Peter 5:7), and He sees our pain. May your hearts find comfort in the wonderful future promises of God, stated at Isaiah 33:24 and John 5:25-29. Until then, may your cherished memories of Mr. Maier strengthen you to cope through the difficult days ahead.-Philippians 4:6,7,13.

Our sincere condolences on your loss. My wife Ann used to work with Steve in MSD and I spent many lunch hours at the Kodak Park Amateur Radio Club chewing the cud with him. He always had something interesting to talk about... He will be missed!

It seems like I've known Steve all of my life. As a child, I remember his CB handle being LBB for little bitty buddy, and as an adult he and my father, Rocky Harris (KA2ZPQ), were fellow hams. Now they are both silent keys, and sending their regards from heaven. My sincere condolences.

After spending a fun weekend with Steve and other club members enjoying the largest "Ham" radio convention in North America, in Dayton, OH, it was quite a shock on Monday to find we had lost him. Steve, KZ2R, was an instrumental part of our Amateur Radio community and this club. He mentored many in this hobby and was always there to help. Our sincere condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed by so many. 73's. RIP KZ2R.

Precious Maier family, Stephen, Thomas, Rachel and Peter,
So long ago it seems, we saw each other often. Your father was congregation president and ministered to us in memorable ways. We did not know that your mother passed, so this note addresses our heartfelt prayers that the God of all grace in Christ grant you peace and comfort. As you celebrate, know we hold your family in our prayers.
God bless you and your families.
