Sharon Ann Reamer-Chippewa, 69, of Medina, NY, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Erie County Medical Center. She was born January 13, 1947 in Albion, NY. She worked for many years as a fruit harvester in apples, oranges, pears, tomatoes and more. Sharon also worked as a factory worker and then a dishwasher at the Travel Center of America in Pembroke. She was always helping everyone else. Whether it was giving someone food or a place to live, she would give the shirt off of her back for anyone in need. Sharon will be remembered as a great mother, best friend and an extraordinary grandmother. She loved everyone. Survivors include her son, David J. Shutt; step-daughter, Lisa L. Chippewa; daughter in-law, Karen M. Shutt; former daughter in-law, Heather L. Shutt; grandchildren, Dustin L. Shutt, Frederick J. (Alyson M.) Shutt, Felicia R. Prowant and Camryn Binder; also several nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Gordon Reamer and Jane (Wolfrom) Reamer, her husband, Venward D. Chippewa and brother, James A. Reamer, Sr. Friends may call on Monday, Dec. 26, 2016, 9:30-11AM at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where her memorial service will be held at 11AM. Rev. Linda Haight will officiate and interment will follow in Boxwood Cemetery.
