Veterans Benefits

At Cooper Funeral Home, we take great honor in being able to accord our local veterans dignified military funeral honors at the time of their passing.  All veterans and active members of the United States armed forces are entitled to receive military honors at the time of their funeral symbolizing our great appreciation for their sacrifice and service.  

In addition to military honors and presentation of the flag at the funeral, veterans are entitled to a gravestone or marker provided by the VA, burial in a national VA cemetery (if desired) and a presidential memorial certificate all at no charge.  There are financial benefits that may also be available.
