Mr. Michael A. Ferri, of Lyndonville, passed away on April 2, 2017 at the Medina Memorial Hospital. Mr. Ferri was born in Medina, October 2, 1939, the son of the late Sam and Rose C. “Momma Rose” (Martino) Ferri. A graduate of Medina High School, class of 1957, he owned and operated Michell Spaghetti House from 1960-1971. In 1971, he began his career at Botsford & Hartway where he was an automobile salesman. He retired from Hartway Motors in 2001 following 30 years of service. Mike was a former member of the Lyndonville Lions Club. Survivors include his wife of nearly 52 years, Jean A. (Bailey) whom he married on Sept. 11, 1965; 2 brothers-in-law, Kenneth H. Schaal and Dennis (Donna) Bailey; 2 nephews, Douglas (Donna Lee) Bailey and Darren (Kimberly) Bailey; 5 great nieces and nephews, Breonna, Brennan, Brysen, Katylen and Meghan; several cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Rose on Sept. 8, 2003, father, Sam on July 6, 1985; 2 sisters, Camille A. Ferri on June 26, 1993 and Angela R. Schaal on Sept. 2, 1999. Friends may call on Thursday (10-12) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where his service will be held at 12 O’clock noon following visitation. The Rev. Daniel J. Fawls will officiate and interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lyndonville Lions Club or a charity of one’s choice.
