Mr. Leo R. Wodrich, Sr., of Knowlesville, passed away on April 10, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Wodrich was born at home in West Shelby, October 20, 1940, a son of the late Walter and Doris (Kams) Wodrich. A lifelong resident of the area, he married the former Betty Barkley on October 6, 1962. Mr. Wodrich was a lifelong farmer and was employed by the Satkowski family, the Kidney Sawmill and LaMont Fruit Farms. He loved his horses, especially Princess, goats and raising chickens. He resided in his Knowlesville home for nearly fifty years.
Survivors include his children, Leo (Donna) Wodrich, Jr., of Knowlesville, Barb Horn of Florida, Joanne (Michael) Roberts, Jr. of Lockport and Sandra (Timothy) Hagen of East Shelby; several grandchildren and great grandchildren who were his pride and joy; his siblings, Shirley (Walker) Capstick of Medina, Gerald Wodrich of Batavia, Raymond Wodrich of Medina and Donna Wolter of Medina; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty, in 2015, his son, James, in 2011 and his brother, Earl, in 2012.
Friends are invited to attend his graveside committal service on Thursday at 11AM at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, West Shelby.
