Obituary of Ida M. Kane

Mrs. Ida M. Kane of Medina, passed away on May 10, 2017 at the Medina Memorial Hospital.


Mrs. Kane was born in the Town of Royalton, December 30, 1921, a daughter of the late John W. and Ida E. (Mittlestadt) Raduns. She was employed by Harrison Radiator Division of GMC from 1954-57 and on July 27, 1957 she married Wilbur F. Kane. 
Mrs. Kane was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wolcottsville.  She enjoyed gardening and the outdoors.  Mr. and Mrs. Kane resided in Knowlesville for 43 years before she moved to Medina in 1995.


Survivors include her daughter Debra Kane of Sarasota, FL; several nieces and nephews including Betty Munson of Middleport, James Raduns of Lyndonville, Diane Johnson of Lockport and a very good friend, Shirley (Rev. Donald) Willman of Akron.  She was predeceased by her husband, Wilbur, in 1983; her granddaughter, Shelby Lyn Miller; 4 sisters, Louise Raduns,  Irene Lindke, Mildred Weeks and Helen Huerta; 3 brothers, Walter, Homer and Robert Raduns.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Wednesday at 11AM at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 West Center Street, Medina.  The Rev. Craig S. Rhodenizer will officiate and interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, West Shelby.
