Obituary of Marion Anna Owen

Marion Anna Owen, 88, died at Strong Memorial Hospital on June 6, 2017.  Marion was born in Oakfield, NY, one of ten children born to Louie and Katherine (Fox) Maxwell.

  Marion married Kenneth R. Owen in Medina, NY in 1948. She lived in Medina all of her married life, spending the past several years at Applegate Manor, under the caring supervision of Tricia Trupo. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth, in 2012, and a son, Craig, in 2001. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Glen, Joseph, Ralph, Albert, Charles, Sally, and Dorothy. Surviving is her son, Graydon (Eileen) Owen of Medina, a daughter, Patricia Buttons of Rochester, her grandchildren, Eric Owen (Middleport, NY), Brian (Lisa) Owen (Middleport, NY)  and Heath Owen (Florida).  Also surviving are sisters, Mildred (Batavia, NY) and Margaret (Pennsylvania), and a sister-in-law, Geraldine Owen (Newfane, NY). Marion retired from Fisher Price in 1997.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center Street, Medina, NY 14103.  Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon, with a memorial service at 12:30 pm.
