In Our Hearts
We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday.
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories.
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake.
With which we'll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our heart.

This man I consider ahead of his time, and in many ways I hope that he watches over all of us and I do not disappoint his spirit, soul and heart. I still remember the day that he showed up at the dorm room door of Amy and I, 22years ago, with a pair of 8 1/2 shoes in cement blocks as a joke about being a cement mason and stereotypes. I still have one to this day, as a door stop. The news saddens me, but I also have to believe that he is happy where he is. My love goes out to all whose lives where enriched by him, especially his family and friends.

To the D'Amico family, Sorry to read of your loss, I used to volunteer with Gary back at COVA.
Gary, you were also so professional and kind to everyone who called in need of help. One things I learned from you was; there is a human side to every emergency situation and treating that is just as important as treating the medical needs.
RIP Gary, you touched many people on earth and will be missed.

It was a great pleasure working along side Gary as we both labored for our fathers who owned the concrete business. Later Gary became his own boss while I went into teaching.
My heart, prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
God Bless,
John J. Grillo
