Mildred Lindke Pritchard Knights
10/04/1916 – 7/01/2017

Mildred Knights, beloved and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend passed away peacefully at Orchard Manor Rehabilitation Facility at the age of 100+.

She was born in the Town of Royalton to the late Gustave and Alma (Koepsel) Lindke. Her humble, caring, loving, sincere ways and humor were felt by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

Mildred married Melvin Pritchard on June 20, 1935 and they farmed on the Swett Road until his death on July 24, 1974. On November 4, 1977 she married Melvin’s best friend, Edmund Knights and they enjoyed retirement together until his death April 18, 1999.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, James (Janet) Pritchard; daughter, Nancy (late Sidney, Jr.) Riches; sister in-law, Shirley (late Robert) Lindke; grandchildren, Ellen Pritchard, Carol (Jeff) Pritchard Reitz, Debra Riches (Ronald) Breed, Shari Riches (Michael) Little, James (Stephanie) Riches, Linda Riches (Alex) Lonnen; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Jackson Reitz, Nichole Breed (Jeremy) Howell, Lindsey Breed, Drew, Kyle and Ryan Little, Rebecca and Jonathan Riches; great-great-grandson, Nathaniel Howell; several nieces and nephews; step-children, Barbara Clark, Katherine Knights and Kenneth (Mary) Knights and their families.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Medina and its Friendly Circle Class, Senior Citizens of Western Orleans, Sewing Club and Orleans Orbits Square Dance Club.

Friends may call on Saturday, July 8th from 10AM-12PM at the First Baptist Church, Medina, where her memorial service will be held at 12PM, followed by a meal. Burial will be in Bates Road Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church- 205 W. Center St., Medina, NY 14103.
