Obituary of Archibald L. Morgan

Mr. Archibald L. “Archie” Morgan, of the Town of Shelby, went to be with the Lord on October 6, 2017.

Mr. Morgan was born at home in Cheektowaga, March 19, 1938, a son of the late Henry George and Gladys Louise (Klawer) Morgan.   Farming was his passion and from a young age, he owned and operated a farm on West Shelby Road.  He also was employed by FMC Corporation for nearly 30 years, retiring in the early 1990’s.  Archie was always busy working on the farm or puttering and fixing things.  He enjoyed the company of his nephews who often helped with the farm work during summer vacations.

Survivors include two sisters, Joan Fearby of Medina and Peggy Luxon of Hamlin; 4 nephews, Byron, Darryl and Leslie Luxon and Michael Fearby;  2 uncles, Lee Klawer of Corfu and Albert (Frances) Klawer of AZ; an aunt, Bertha Webster of Batavia; great nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Harry Morgan.

Friends may call on Saturday 9-10 AM at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where his funeral service will be held at 10AM.  Pastor Erik Olsen will officiate and interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, West Shelby.
