Obituary of Lynette M. Fralick
Mrs. Lynette M. Fralick, of Medina, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic.
Lyn was born in Medina, October 9, 1961, a daughter of Shirley (Sargent) Bielak and the late Richard E. “Pook” Bielak. A graduate of Medina High School, class of 1979, she attended SUNY at Brockport. She began her career at the New York State Department of Corrections, at the Wende Correctional Facility and was currently employed at the Albion Correctional Facility as a payroll examiner. Lyn was a longtime member of Sacred Heart of Jesus RC Church and currently a parishioner of Holy Trinity Parish. She enjoyed spending time at the Nickerson family cottage on Lake Ontario and with the “Pines Girls”.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen R. Fralick whom she married on September 2, 1995; step-children, Kimberly (Steven) Balcerzak, Christian (Rochelle) Fralick, Michael (Brenda) Fralick, Heather (Kevin) Fralick and Joshua (Sasha) Fralick; step-grandchildren, Bradley, Maggie, Jusett, Jenna, Sabrina, Dominic, Daniel, Julian, Maddie, JJ and Avery; her mother, Shirley Bielak; siblings, Michael “Pook” (Karen) Bielak, Laurinda Punch, Kathleen Bielak, Karen Sylvester, and Steven (Janine) Bielak; aunt of Joshua and Adam Sylvester, Brett Bielak, Madison, Kylie, Molly and Landon Bielak; aunt of great nieces, great nephews; aunts and uncles including her God Father, Bob (Rose) Nickerson, Carl “Sonny” (Pat) Sargent, Bob (Pat) Fox, Bill (Barbara) Sargent and Lauren Johnson; cousins, friends and her beloved boxer, Halsey. She was predeceased by her father, Richard, and aunts, Betty Fox, Pat Nickerson, Peggy Johnson and Barbara Jablonski.
Friends may call on Wednesday (4-7) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11AM at Holy Trinity Parish/St. Mary’s Church by The Rev. Daniel J. Fawls and interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
