Marlene D. Snow, 80, of Medina entered into rest Monday, March 7, 2016 at Medina Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Home. Born August 18, 1935 in Medina, Mrs. Snow was the daughter of the late Redvers and Leona (Falls) Luxon. She attended Medina Central School and on Christmas Eve, 1956 married Robert W. Snow. Together they raised three children. Mrs. Snow enjoyed crafts, going to craft shows, camping, fishing, knitting and loved her dogs. Mrs. Snow was predeceased by her husband, Robert on March 2, 2013. Survivors include 3 children, Robbi (Tim) Hess of Albion, Cheryl (Jason) Sipple of Medina and Russell (Jennifer) Snow of Burt; 6 grandchildren, Nicholas Gray, Alexa Hess, Robert Snow, Andrew Sipple, Zachary Snow and Nathan Snow; 2 great-grandchildren, Alyson and Carter Snow; sister, Dorinne (late Kenneth) Prest and her brother, Donald (Crystal) Luxon. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 2-4PM at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where her funeral service will immediately follow at 4PM. The Rev. Russ Peters will officiate. Burial will be in Bates Road Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to PAWS- 3371 Gaines Basin Rd., Albion, NY 14411 or to the Medina Memorial Hospital- Skilled Nursing Home Activities Program- 200 Ohio St., Medina, NY 14103.
