Obituary of Howard Clark Rogers

Mr. Howard C. Rogers, of Medina, passed away on Jan. 18, 2018 at the Orchard Manor Nursing Home.

Mr. Rogers was born in Detroit, MI, Sept. 2, 1935, a son of the late Howard William and Ruth Naomi (Clark) Rogers.  He moved to this area at the age of twelve and was a graduate of L.A. Webber High School in Lyndonville, class of 1953.  Following high school, he worked as a truck driver for the Lapp Express Company.  He was then employed by Anderson Motors as an auto mechanic.  Howard later operated Rogers Auto Service from his home on Murdock Road.  Lastly, he was employed for over twenty years by Fisher-Price Toys, retiring in 1992.

Howard is survived by his three daughters, Karen (Richard) Perugini of Medina, Kathy (Issac) Snowburg of VA and Judy (Gerald) Corrente of NJ; a good friend who was like a daughter, Cindy (Larry) Drescher; five grandchildren, Lindsey (Roman) Boitsov, Shelby (Luke) Jennings, Christina (Patrick) O’Carroll, Nicholas Corrente and Matthew Corrente; two great-grandchildren, Jack Jennings and Zoya Boitsov; his brother, James (Sally) Rogers of TX; his former wife, Carol Rogers of FL; his niece, Erin Rogers (Gene) Vadala and nephew, James (Lisa) Rogers; great nieces, great nephews and friends.  He was predeceased by his longtime good friend, Theresa Grierson, on Nov. 7, 2017.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at 11AM at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.  Burial will be at Lynhaven Cemetery in Lyndonville.
