Obituary of Clara Teresa Smith

Clara Teresa Smith, 72, of Medina, NY passed away on February 3, 2018 in Rochester, NY.

Clara Teresa Smith was born in Leland, Mississippi to the late Mr. Lucious Smith and Mrs. Lillie Mae Peoples on January 8, 1946. She spent most of her life in Daytona Beach, FL where she was a member of the Queen Lamonda, Chapter No. 252 of the Order of Eastern Star of the international F. & S. M. MASONS.

Clara leaves to mourn her passing her children:  Johnny J. Mack, Jr. and spouse Elaine Westbrooks (Carrboro, NC), David L. Mack and spouse Stephanie Mack (Medina, NY), Christopher W. Mack, Sr. and  spouse Glennell Mack (Valrico, FL), Gary L. Mack (Tallulah, LA), Victoria Mack (Houston, TX), Ramona Manning Badger and spouse Kenneth Badger(Jacksonville, FL), James Summerall (Houston, TX), Jason Summerall (Daytona Beach, FL) and Clara C. Smith (Houston, TX. ).  She also leaves two dear siblings, her brother Jack Smith of Wisconsin, her Sister, Mary Reid also of Wisconsin, and 28 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Summerall, mother, Lillie Mae Peoples, father, Luscious Smith, and brothers Lewis King, Willister King, Fred Philips, Otis Philips, and John Henry Phillips Jr.  

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Unity Hospital (Rochester, NY) for their care of Clara T. Smith in her final days.
