Obituary of Robert N. Roth

Mr. Robert N. Roth, of the Town of Ridgeway, passed away on February 25, 2018 at the Medina Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Roth was born in the Town of Ridgeway, July 18, 1932, a son of the late Fred and Lettie (Miller) Roth, Sr.  A graduate of LA Weber High School, class of 1952, he married the former Alice M. Quintern on July 17, 1954.  Mr. Roth was self-employed and operated a saw mill with his father for many years.  He later owned a truck body workshop and was a truck driver.

Mr. Roth was a member of the Eagle Harbor United Methodist Church.  He was elected to the Town of Ridgeway and served as a councilman and was a member of the Town of Ridgeway Zoning Board for 34 years.  He enjoyed woodworking, camping and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 64 years, Alice; 2 daughters, Bonnie (Francis) Webster and Susan Secore; 4 grandchildren, Tiphanie, Bobbi Jo, Rockley and Bradley; 6 great grandchildren; a sister, Helen Callan of Buffalo; a brother, Paul (Jolene)Roth of NC; 2 sisters-in-law, Ruth (William) Covis and Linda (Larry) Williams; a brother-in-law, Norman Quintern; several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by 2 son-in-laws, Ronald “Hornet” Vagg and Rockey Secore; his siblings, Leon, Fred Jr., Arnold, Patricia and Lester.

Friends may call on Thursday (11-1) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where his funeral service will be held at.1PM. Pastor Susan Boring will officiate and interment will be in Otter Creek Cemetery.
