Obituary of Leah Jane Watt
Mrs. Leah J. Watt, of Medina, passed away on April 4, 2018 at the Martin-Linsin Hospice Residence.
Mrs. Watt was born in Medina, September 27, 1935, a daughter of the late John “Jack” and Leah M. (Gilbert) Feltz. A graduate of Medina High School, class of 1954, she married John T. Watt on March 10, 1956. For many years, she was employed on Main Street in Medina, in retail sales, by O’Connor’s Toy Store, Garlock’s Office Products and Baughn’s Shoes. She was a member of VFW Ladies Auxillary.
Survivors include 3 children, Bonnie J. Watt, Kathy Kepner and Patricia (Michael) Dugan; grandchildren, Rachael Dugan, Zachary (Jayme) Dugan, Mitchell (Shirley) Kepner and Renee Kepner; a great grandchild, Michelle Kepner; her sister, Sylvia (Jim) Hutcheson; sister-in-law, Sally (late Dave)Weaver; 2 brothers-in-law, Ramon (Dolly) Watt and James (Gloria) Watt; several nieces, nephews and her pride and joy, her dog, Ruby. She was predeceased by her husband, John, on Feb. 4, 2005, her sister, Margaret (late Howard) Patt and her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Anne (late Gary) Maak.
Friends may call on Monday (2-3PM) at the United Methodist Church of the Abundant Harvest Fellowship Hall, Knowlesville, where her Memorial Service will immediately follow at 3PM. Pastor Marilyn J Kasperek will officiate and interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, West Shelby.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Knights Kaderli Memorial Fund, Hospice of Orleans or a charity of one’s choice.
