Obituary of Henrietta Jenkins

Henrietta (Stratton) Jenkins, 65, of Medina, NY went to be with the Lord on April 30, 2018.

Henrietta was born in Pikeville, KY to Betty and Henry Stratton on June 5, 1952. She graduated from Brockport High School in 1970. She worked in the automotive industry for much of her life along with other various jobs until retirement. Henrietta enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, crafting and time at the lake. Mostly though she enjoyed time spent with her family.

Henrietta is survived by her children, Allen (Dee) Hansel and Chad (Kelly) Hansel; her mother, Betty Stratton; her siblings, Kathy (Terry) Swanger, Karen (Jerry) Leastman and Larry (Loretta) Stratton; her grandchildren, Ryan, Randi, Janie, Isaiah, Abram and Bailey; great-grandchildren, Teigen, Liam and Kennedy; also several nieces and nephews. Henrietta is preceded in death by her husband, Charles and her father, Henry Stratton.

Calling hours will be held at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 West Center Street, Medina on Thursday, May 3rd from 6-8PM and also on Friday, May 4th from 9-10AM at the Albion Free Methodist Church- 25 S. Platt Street Albion, NY, where her funeral service will immdediately follow at 10AM. Graveside committal services will be at Mount Albion Cemetery.
