Obituary of Dona Irene Manuel

Dona Irene Manuel, of Hartland, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Niagara Hospice.

Dona was born in Medina, November 4, 1939, a daughter of the late William G. and Edith G. (Bolton) Robinson.  She lived in Middleport for most of her life.

Dona was employed at Fisher-Price/Mattel and at the Roy-Hart School District.  She was a longtime member of the Senior Citizens of Western Orleans.  She loved bingo, bowling, trips to the casino, and socializing with her great group of neighbors.  In later years, she enjoyed travelling with her daughter and sitting out on the porch watching the wildlife on the family farm.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Francis Manuel; her children, Richard (Karen) Manuel, Samuel (Donna) Manuel, and Elizabeth (Michael) Schaal, many nephews and nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Dona was predeceased by her twin brother, Donald Robinson, brothers Frank and Gerald Maynard, her sisters Brenda Robinson-Kauffman, Geraldine Ander, Helen Fitts, and Shirley Parham.

Friends may call on Monday, October 15, 2018 (6-9) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 West Center Street, Medina.  The Rev. Dr. William Wilkinson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Medina, will officiate at a private graveside committal service at the West Ridgeway Cemetery.
