Obituary of Thomas A. Boyce, Jr.

Thomas A. Boyce, Jr., 64, of the Town of Shelby entered into rest at his home on Saturday, January 26, 2019.

Born February 19, 1954 in Medina, Tom was the son of Theresa (Skomski) Boyce and the late Thomas A. Boyce, Sr. He was a graduate of Medina High School, class of 1972. Tom grew up on his family farm in Shelby and went on to work as a mason for Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Union Local #3 in Rochester.  Tom was a mason by trade and an outdoorsman at heart.  

Survivors include his mother, Theresa Boyce; his three sons, Thomas (Katrina) Boyce, Chip (Ashley) Boyce and Cody Boyce; three grandchildren, Alaina, Caleb and Aubree Boyce; two brothers, Paul Boyce and Timothy (Chrissy) Boyce; and several nieces and nephews.

Tom was predeceased by his father, Thomas A. Boyce, Sr. on February 6, 2002.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Feb. 1, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. The Rev. Daniel J. Fawls will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in the spring at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
