Obituary of Bonnie A. Nagel

Bonnie A. Nagel, 74, of Medina, entered into rest on Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Medina Memorial Hospital- Skilled Nursing Facility.

Born November 23, 1944, Bonnie was a daughter to the late Walter and Florence (Penny) Male. In her earlier years she worked various waitressing jobs. She and her late husband, Richard “Dick” Nagel, were avid antiquers and enjoyed going to yard sales and estate sales. She was jokingly known as the “Secretary Treasurer of the New York State Junker’s Association”. Bonnie could be rough around the edges, but always had a good heart.

Survivors include her four cousins, Sandy Terryberry of Elizabeth City, NC, Carolyn Beecher of Medina, NY, Gary Jordan of Raquette Lake, NY and Donna (Fran) Grabowski of Medina, NY; sisters in-law, Betty (Tony) Kerner of OH and Linda McCaslin of FL; several nieces and nephews; her beloved cat, Shiba; special friends, Joan Grein, Karen Enderby, Joan Weet and Clara Sadlocka; and many other good friends.

Besides her parents, Bonnie was predeceased by her husband, Richard Nagel on September 24, 2014; brothers in-law, Thomas Nagel and Ray McCaslin; and cousins in-law, Warren Terryberry and Robert Beecher.

A graveside committal service will be held on Saturday, March 30th at 11 a.m. at Boxwood Cemetery, Medina. Arrangements were completed through Cooper Funeral Home- 215 W. Center St., Medina. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Orleans- P.O. Box 489, Albion, NY 14411.
