Obituary of Renetta M. Karney

Renetta M. Karney, 100, of Medina entered into rest Saturday morning, March 2, 2019 at the Orchard Manor Nursing Home.

Born May 25, 1918 in Medina, Mrs. Karney was a daughter to the late Clemance and Valeria (Kempinski) Bielinski. She was a longtime member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Middleport.  Mrs. Karney enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading, bowling and gardening. She especially enjoyed talking with people about her love of God and also spending time with her family.

Survivors include her loving daughter, Nanette (James) Lotz of Middleport; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Joyce Fulwell.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Edward Karney in 1991; and four siblings, Edmund (Frances) Bielinski in 1968, Joseph (Mary) Bielinski 1986, Sophia (Anthony) Kozielski in 2000 and Matthew (Belma) Bielinski in 2011.

Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16th at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses- 3830 Stone Rd., Middleport.  A graveside committal service will be held in Boxwood Cemetery at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
