Obituary of Carolyn A. Petkus

Carolyn A. Petkus, of Medina entered into rest on her 80^th birthday, Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at her home.

Born March 12, 1939 in Medina, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Thomas and Amelia (Castricone) Vendetta. She graduated from Medina High School in the class of 1957 and went on to graduate from business school in Rochester. Carolyn was an animal lover and especially loved her cats. She also enjoyed flowers and gardening and also spending time with her loving grandchildren.

Survivors include her two daughters, Cindy (Mike Lyons) Petkus-Barna and Suzanne Eaton; five grandchildren, Adam Eaton, Lindsay (Rich Rossow) Eaton, Morgan Eaton, Clay Thomas Barna and Kyle Barna; four siblings, Thomas (Joanne) Vendetta, Richard (Audrey) Vendetta, Joann Beyer and Francis (Debbie) Vendetta; also several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 17^th from (4-7 p.m.) at Cooper Funeral Home- 215 W. Center St., Medina. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 18^th at (11 a.m.) at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, St. Mary’s Church, Medina.
