Kester L. Baker, 65, of Medina, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Buffalo General Hospital.

Born January 28, 1954 in Malone, N.Y. Kester was a son of the late Clarence and Louva (Jock) Baker. He graduated from Brushton-Moira High School in the class of 1973. Kester worked for several years for Alliance Tool & Die in Rochester. He Then worked for Fisher-Price in Medina and finally for Bird’s Eye/ Bonduelle in Brockport retiring in 2017. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of the Abundant Harvest in Knowlesville, where he served as a church trustee.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Linda J. (Frederick) Baker, whom he married on June 21, 1986; brother, Steve Baker; sister, Rosalie Grinwald; sister in-law, Tracie Wilson; brothers in-law, Roger Frederick & Brian Castrechino; nieces, Raychelle, Amber, Trinity, Krystal, Penny, Julie and Rose Marie; nephews, Robert, Tyler and Ryan; and his dog, Jilly.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Horace, Wesley and Clifford Baker.

His Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 4th at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church of the Abundant Harvest Fellowship Hall- 3619 Knowlesville Rd., Knowlesville, N.Y. 14479. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the memorial fund at the United Methodist Church of the Abundant Harvest. Arrangements were completed through Cooper Funeral Home- 215 W. Center St., Medina.
