Dorotha Nadine Santillo passed away at age 86 the morning of May 5, 2016 at Hospice of Orleans in Albion, New York, with her daughter Debi at her bedside. She had lived the previous four years at The Willows assisted living facility in Medina. She is survived by her children, Diana Hogan, Debi (Jeff) Gay and Michael (Sandra) Hogan; grandchildren, Jeremy Hogan, Kayleigh (Vince) DiLorenzo and Spencer Ferra; great-grandchildren, Allie Hogan, Devin Hogan and Brae DiLorenzo. She was predeceased by her husband Amerigo “Pepper” Santillo. She retired from the Medina Memorial Hospital medical records department, and was a longtime member of the Turtle Club and a Life Member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She loved playing euchre, bowling and an occasional trip to the casino. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 West Center Street, Medina New York. Services will be held Wednesday, May 11 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. A luncheon will follow at the VFW in Medina. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Orleans. The family would like to express heartfelt appreciation to the staff at The Willows and Hospice of Orleans for their kind and compassionate care.
