Obituary of Roberta L. Hare

Roberta L. Hare, 76, entered into rest on January 16, 2020 at the Medina Memorial Hospital with her loving daughter at her side.

Born December 13, 1943 in Lockport, Roberta was a daughter to the late Robert and Margaret (Wilson) Cox. She worked for Southland Frozen Foods in Barker. She married John D. Hare on March 26, 1966. Together they ran the Hare Second Hand Store on Main Street in Barker. In her later years, Roberta enjoyed playing cards and bingo.

Survivors include her daughter, Melanie (Keith) Oliver of Lyndonville; two grandchildren, Felicia Reid and Allen Reid; her brother, Thomas (MaryAnn) Cox of Lockport; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John on April 18, 1997 and her sister, Patricia Dysinger.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, Jan. 20^th from 4-8 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Jan 21^st at 10 a.m. The Rev. Bernard Nowak will officiate. Burial will be in Hartland Central Cemetery later in the spring.
