Obituary of Pedro Lopez Dipini

Pedro Lopez Dipini, 71, of Medina entered into rest on March 17, 2020 at the Orchard Manor Rehab & Nursing Center.

 

Born April 27, 1948 in Humacao, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Horacio Lopez and Maria Dipini. He immigrated to the United States in 1967. After living a few years in New York City he moved to Medina, where he lived the rest of his life. Pedro married Joyce E. Collins-Bartlemus on June 26, 1976. He worked for Whiting Door Manufacturing in Akron for 45 years and retired in 2013. A very active person, Pedro enjoyed playing tennis, baseball, biking and also running.

 

Survivors include his loving wife, Joyce E. Dipini of Medina; three children, Dennis Dipini, Denise Morgan both of Medina and Maribel Lopez Beltran of Puerto Rico; three grandchildren, Gabriella Dipini, Stephanie Morgan and Genesis M. Rivera Lopez; siblings, Carmin Lopez Dipini, Miguel (Vivian) Lopez Dipini, Victor Lopez, Felix Lopez Dipini, Raffela Lopez Dipini, Bonita Lopez Dipini, Isaura Lopez Diaz and Elsie Lopez; brothers-in-law, Robert (Beverly) Collins and Douglas (Mary Ellen) Collins; also several nieces and nephews.

 

A graveside committal service will take place in Hartland Central Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Pedro’s memory may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation of WNY, 2805 Wehrle Drive, Suite 12, Williamsville, NY 14221. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
