Obituary of Raymond E. Cromey

Raymond E. Cromey, 71, of Medina died Sunday, May 10, 2020 at the VA WNY Healthcare System in Buffalo.

Born September 29, 1948 in Rochester, Mr. Cromey was a son of the late Bernard and Ruth Cromey. He graduated from Churchville Chili High School, class of 1969. Upon graduation he served his country in the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army as a private first class from 1969-71. Mr. Cromey married the former Sandra M. Kelly on August 4, 1978. He worked as a truck driver for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Cromey; son, Shawn Cromey both of Medina; siblings, Joan Rodden, Fred Cromey and John Cromey; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother, Thomas Cromey.

Services will be privately held at the convenience of the family. Future interment will take place in the WNY National Cemetery in Pembroke. Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
