It was wonderful getting to know your mother in recent years. I really enjoyed hearing her stories about growing up, living on the farm, the schools she went to, and the jobs she had. Even after her memory wasn't as clear, she was a good conversationalist, often jokingly referring to her memory, but still having interesting things to talk about. I'm sorry she is gone but glad she had a long life with her children close by.
