This is not easy for me.....Ted was very special to me and so is his Family!!! Ted was Like a Grandpa and Best friend That I never had. He thought about others more than himself and he was very strong minded and sensitive as well. He never wanted anyone to feel sad and his words of encouragement really changed my life and my way of thinking. I am just really blessed that Ted was a part of my life because although it was for only 10 short years, I have the rest of my life to to carry such a meaningful journey In my heart, mind and soul. I love you Ted and I will see you again some day!
Love and Blessings for you all always,
Charlene and Max Too.....xoxoxoxoxoxox

Ted was the kindness, sweetest, caring, loving, giving, and very smart gentlemen that I have ever known. He would give you the shirt off his back with no questions asked. He was an amazing father and companion to my Mom. He would do so many good things for my Mom. There was always roses sent on Valentine's Day, always the most beautiful arrangement of flowers on every occasion. He was such a good man to all that met him. He had a great sence of character on everyone he knew. He would give everyone a second chance. Which you just don't see in people today!! He had a very good sence of humor!!! His smile was energetic. He had the ability to always make you feel like a beautiful person. I just can't say enough great things about this amazing gentlemen. Always dressed in suits. His hair was always perfect. Well dear Ted, thank you for being a father to me and an awesome grandfather to my kids. You set such an awesome example of how men should be!!! I know that you and a most beloved husband, Pen, are having a lot of fun together. If there is golfing in heaven, well I know for sure that's what you two are doing. Love you to pieces, Mr. Baker and you will be missed SO MUCH!!!!!! RIP!!!!!! To all the Baker family, you have my deepest condolences. Each of you were all good kids for your dad. None of you should ever feel guilty about anything. You were all there by his side right until his passings. He loved all three of you and all his grandchildren more than anything else in this world!! Love all you guys so much!!!

I met Mr. Baker back in 1978. He gave me my first job as a nursing student, taking care of his Dad in his home. He was always such a gentle, soft spoken man, and carried himself with old school dignity and respect. The mold was broken when he was born, he was one of a kind. I'm so glad to have known someone of his caliber, for they are few and far between. I know that he created warm and loving memories with his family...how could it be otherwise? I pray that these memories sustain you through this saddest of times. God Bless your family.

I met Mr. Baker in 1978 at Liberty Bank when I was 21. At the meeting he treated me with much dignity I thought for my age. He approved my mortgage which was hard to get in those days. I never forgot him. Businessman like him are rare these days. I am sorry to hear about his passing. Joe Russo

My dad, Charles W Baker, was Uncle Ted’s older brother. Growing up in Buffalo, I have fond, wonderful memories of spending time with Uncle Ted and Aunt Eleanor and playing with my cousins at their home, I remember how loving and cheerful a man he was, and he always seemed to be dressed up, even if he wasn’t going to work! God bless you Uncle Ted - you will live on in all of us.

Mr. Baker was one of the most gentle, kindest souls I've ever met. His compassion, class and old-school decency was a beacon of light unmatched by anyone else I've ever known. He could light up your day with his poise, grace and down-to-earth intellect - such a welcome relief in an often cold, callous world. Although his passing will leave an immense void in our lives, his star will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
I'm deeply saddened by his passing but eternally grateful for having had the chance to know him ... and more so for the opportunity to call him ... 'friend.'
