Obituary of Terry L. Phillips

Terry Lee Phillips, 60, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 28, 2020.

 

Born on July 10, 1960, he was the son of the late George B. and Jeanette F. (Sanford) Phillips. Terry proudly graduated from Medina High School in 1979. He had been employed by the Medina Central School District, White Bros. Rose Company, and Walmart before retiring. Terry spent much of his retirement years in service to Alabama Basom Methodist Church. He was very proud of all his work and accomplishments. Terry was known for being a kind-hearted soul, with a fierce essence of helping and giving to others. He loved all animals, especially dogs. Terry will be greatly missed by all those who had an association with him.

 

He is survived by his brothers, Dr. Dennis B. Phillips (Dr. Mary Jo Capodice) of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and Dale Allen Phillips of Medina; nephews, George and William Phillips of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; aunts, Gladys Phillips of Basom, Mildred Bayne of Rochester, Patricia Martin Phillips of Medina, and Virginia Phillips of Medina. Terry is also survived by many caring cousins. He was predeceased by his very special friend, Donna J. Wehling.

 

Family and friends are invited to attend his graveside committal service on Friday, Sept. 4th at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Albion Cemetery, Albion. Memorials in Terry’s name may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
