Obituary of Baby Mia Natalie Berg

Mia Natalie Berg, precious baby girl of Josh and Chloe (Jefferds) Berg was born and fell asleep in death on September 27, 2020 at the Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo. Born at 22 weeks and 4 days, she weighed 1-lb., and was 10 ½ in. long. Although Mia did not get to spend much time with us, she was so very loved and touched many lives. Our sweet baby girl will never be forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandfather, Gary Elder.

In addition to her parents and big sister, Ryanna Berg, she is survived by maternal grandparents, David Jefferds (Amy Gibson) of Sanford, NC and Megan (Mikeal) Davenport of Medina; paternal grandparents, Ryan and Tammy (Elder) Berg of Albion; great-grandparents, Brian (Marie) Waild of Medina, Molly (Michael) Lane of Kent, William and Linda Jefferds of Angier, NC; great-great-grandmothers, Margaret Cole of Lockport and Dolores Elder of Waterport; uncles, Luke Davenport, Tyler Jefferds, Jason Berg, Jordan Berg and Evan Vanskiver; aunts, Alexis Jefferds, Jessica Jefferds, Jenna Jefferds, Melynn Vanskiver and Belle Casselman; cousins, Sophia, Jaxson, Ava, Roselyn and Christian; several great-aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be no formal services. Josh and Chloe would like to thank the nurses and doctors of Oishei for their love, compassion, and support during this very tough time. We will be forever grateful. Mia’s arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
