Martha J. Foster, age 92, of Medina entered into rest on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the Martin-Linsin Hospice Residence in Albion.

Born March 2, 1928 in Medina, she was a daughter of the late George and Hazel (Wells) Bacon. Early on she worked for Loblaws and later in the meat department at Bells IGA. Martha married David L. Foster on June 7, 1968. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Medina and enjoyed travelling, especially her trips to Florida.

Survivors include her son, Monty Hartman of Lyndonville; daughter, Sandra Thaine of Medina; step-children, Paul (Karrie) Foster, Brian (Norma Jean) Foster and Jeff (Deborah) Foster; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister in-law, Sharon Bacon; and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband, David L. Foster in 2012; daughter in-law, Diane Hartman in 2016; son in-law, Louie Thaine in 2002; and siblings, George, LaVerne, Harold, David, Charles Bacon, Alice Riches and Mary Albone.

Funeral services will be privately held. Interment in Mt. Albion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Orleans, P.O. Box 489, Albion, NY 14411. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
