Anna Will Marciniak, age 98, of the Town of Barre, entered into rest at the Crossroads House of Batavia on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 with her loving family at her side.

Born on September 28, 1922 in Medina, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Benderwicz) Satkowski. Anna was a graduate of Medina High School class of 1940. She married the late Peter J. Will of Oakfield on June 20, 1941 and worked on their family farm on Ham Road in Oakfield. They produced cash crops, milk, broilers, turkeys and eggs. Her husband, Peter sadly died on July 10, 1967, 26 years later. She then worked at the Genesee Farms Bakery in Oakfield for many years. Anna enjoyed cooking, gardening, flowers, hummingbirds, playing on her kindle and cards. She married the late Martin B. Marciniak on April 23, 1977. She was a parishioner of the former St. Patrick’s R.C. Church in Wheatville and upon its closure became a parishioner of St. Padre Pio Parish, St. Cecelia’s Church in Oakfield.

Survivors include her three children, Peter J. (Judith) Will of Bellview, FL, Robert (Carol) Will of Oakfield and JoAnn (Dan) Haas of Oakfield; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Martha (late Leon) Simbida; brother, Richard (Barbara) Satkowski; also several nieces and nephews.

Beside her parents and first husband, Peter Will, Sr., she was predeceased by her second husband, Martin Marciniak in 2016; brothers, Anthony (Emma) Satkowski and Ben (Anna) Satkowski; and sisters, Valeria (John) Byledba and Helen (Joseph) Witkor.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, Nov. 29th from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Thaddeus Bocianowski on Monday, Nov. 30th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Padre Pio Parish, St. Cecelia’s Church, 56 Maple Ave., Oakfield. Interment in St. Cecelia’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Crossroads House of Batavia, P.O. Box 403, Batavia, NY 14020 or to St. Padre Pio Parish.
