I always enjoyed visiting with Marie, seeing her smile, and her little wave she would give while I visited my father at the Veteran's Home in Batavia. When my father passed, nearing four years ago this coming January, Marie was one of the residents I missed seeing when I no longer made my Sunday morning trips to visit my Dad.
