Obituary of Tyler J. Murphy

Tyler J. Murphy, age 28, of Niagara Falls, formerly of Lyndonville, entered into rest on Friday, January 1, 2021.
Born August 3, 1992, he was a son of the late Duane Murphy and the late Mary Askey. He grew up on Murphy’s Berry Farm on Rt. 18 in Lyndonville. His home was always filled with the raucous laughter of friends and family. Many of his days were spent exploring nature and making mischief with his brothers. After graduating from Lyndonville High School in 2010 his experience and love of the outdoors lead him to work in landscaping, where he was known for his hard work and great attention to detail.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Duane Murphy and Mary Askey; grandparents, Burrel and Arlene Murphy; and uncle, Kevin Murphy.
Survivors include his siblings, Kathryn Richards, Chris (Jocelyn) Murphy, Tricia (Ian) Goodrich, and Timothy Murphy; his cousin by blood but brother at heart Steven Murphy; aunt and uncles, Kathy Murphy, Randy (Judy) Murphy and Anthony (Lisa) Murphy; many extended family members in Pennsylvania, his fiancé, Samantha MacDonald, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kenneth F. Ford Foundation, 800 Main St., Room 2A, Niagara Falls, NY 14301. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, Medina.
