Obituary of Joseph H. Krebs

Joseph H. Krebs, “Joe the Janitor”, 78, of Medina entered into rest on Monday, May 17, 2021 at the Medina Memorial Hospital.

Born November 4, 1942 in Medina, he was a son of the late Edwin H. and Nelva (Kidd) Krebs. Joe was a graduate of Medina High School where he was a member of the FFA. He grew up on his family farm. After the passing of his parents, he continued crop farming with his brother. Joe worked as a custodian for the Medina Central School District, first at the Towne Elementary School, and upon its closing, moved to Medina High School, where he retired from after many years.

Beside his parents, Joe was predeceased by three siblings, Ronald Holt, Martin Krebs and Jeanne Buelke.

Survivors include sisters-in-law, Joanne Holt and Rita Krebs; brother-in-law, Bruce Buelke; nephews, Jeffrey (Connie) Holt, David (Joyce) Holt and Michael (Cheryl) Holt; nieces, Alyssa (Mir) Nugmanov and Jessica (Josh) Jeffries; and several aunts, uncles, great-nieces and nephews.

A graveside committal service for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, West Shelby. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
