Obituary of Francis Michael DiCureia

Francis Michael DiCureia, 66, of Medina, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 with family by his side.

Born May 24, 1955 in Medina, he was a son of the late Dominic and Dorothy (Westcott) DiCureia. Frank was a graduate of Medina High School class of 1973. After high school he went directly into the work force, eventually retiring from Delphi in Lockport. Frank, or “Fast” as most of his friends called him, enjoyed spending time with his family and watching the Buffalo Bills and the New York Yankees.

Frank was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Joseph DiCureia.

He is survived by his son, Nicholas (Wendy) DiCureia; grandchildren, Frankie and Lucy DiCureia; step-grandchildren, Hailee and Cooper; brothers, David DiCureia and Peter DiCureia; an uncle, Dick (Vonda) Westcott; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 23^rd at 10:00am at the East Shelby Community Bible Church, 5278 E. Shelby Rd., Medina. Interment will be in the East Shelby Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at www.jdrf.org/donate.
