My deepest condolences to Jim's family. It was always a pleasure to work with Jim throughout his tenure at Medina Hospital. He always had a smile. He didn't mind when Sasi, the Health Department 'Spokesbear' gave him the business during Teddy Bear Clinics or other joint adventures she was at. It was a privilege to work with and get to know Jim. He will be missed greatly.
Nola Goodrich-Kresse

I am going to post some running commentary.
Jimmy and I were very close in our teenage years and early college prior to my relocation to Kentucky and eventually Oklahoma in 1976. We last met in person just prior to my brother Kevin's death in the mid 1990s. I tried to tackle him by surprise (unsuccessfully) in the snow on our way to get pizza. I'm smiling as I think of that moment which was reminiscent of a time when I was about 12 or 13 when he kept tackling me in the snow, and when given his size, I was outmatched. But thankfully my brother Kevin intervened. Jimmy knew he was outnumbered, and so thereafter we were at peace and eventually became very close friends :-)
We really connected with our common interest in guitars (and other things which I shall not mention). I remember barring my heart to him about a pressing matter sitting on the lawn on Marshall Street up at Syracuse University. It helped me greatly to screw up the courage to tell him where I felt weak and was hurting. I trusted him.
He was 5 months older and thus one grade ahead of me. He and my brother took off for San Francisco in the fall of my Sr. year, and they invited me to come. I didn't want to lose a year of school. They got picked up somewhere in Texas and shuttled back home. They laughed about it all, but I sure was glad I didn't make the trip. I loved Jimmy and in more recent years would sometimes call him on his birthday , August 29th, most recently in 2019 or 2020. We talked about connecting for a longer chat, but I regret it did not occur.
We talked a lot after I shifted away from agnosticism into a relationship with Jesus toward the end of my fist year of college. He shifted somewhat in that direction, but stuck with the Catholic Church, especially as he and Katherine approached marriage. I applauded this since I had embraced the Catholic charismatic movement as a genuine expression of the move of the Holy Spirit in my early years as a Christian. Based on the way he spoke of her, I sensed he found a true gift from God when they married.
His Mom was a sweetheart!
I have a ton of stories I could share. My number is 405 328-0123 if any family members would like to hear more. Rest in peace my special friend, and my condolences to the family.

Sending my sincerest heartfelt condolences to the Sinner family for their loss. Jim was well respected by so many of the people he worked with. We recognize his contributions to the VestraCare / Absolut Family and he will truly be missed. He was a good coworker, peer and most important - he was a good person.

Kathy,Ashley, Jim, and family I'm so very sorry for your loss. Jim was a good friend who I laughed with and had many talks. I still can't believe he won't be golfing with us, although he will always be with us in spirit and I'm sure will still have a laugh or two. Love you my friend.

Much of who I am professionally I credit to Mr. Sinner and for that I am truly thankful. From hand written birthday cards for staff, to coming in on Christmas to spread joy to residents and staff and so much more. Although I have not seen him in many years his legacy will live on in those he lead and mentored. Rest well and sincere condolences to family
