Obituary of Carolyn A. Ryan
Carolyn A. Ryan (nee Kwiatkowski), passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the Buffalo General Hospital.
Born October 2, 1951 in Medina, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Irene (Karmazyn) Kwiatkowski. Carolyn attended Medina High School. She worked for Fisher Price Toys, Kleen-Brite Labs and Bernzomatic and retired in 2015. She was also a parishioner of the former Sacred Heart of Jesus RC Church and Holy Trinity RC Parish, St. Mary’s Church in Medina. An avid reader, Carolyn enjoyed reading historical romance novels and also enjoyed watching Nascar. She especially enjoyed spending time with her loving family and friends.
She is survived by her siblings, Richard (Terry) Kwiatkowski, Chester (Rindie) Kwiatkowski, Jerome Kwiatkowski and Michelle Kwiatkowski; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Robert in 1979, Brian in 2008, Gregory in 2012; nephews, Daniel in 2007 and Brennan in 2008; and sister in-law, Sandra Kwiatkowski in 2021.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 9th from 5-7pm at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 10th at 10am at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Mary’s Church, 211 Eagle St., Medina. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
