My wife Carol and I just returned from a 12 day vacation to find a phone call from Brenda with the sad news of Ernie's passing. All of my brothers are also out of town, so unable to attend the service. We certainly want to extend our sympathy to the family, and I speak for the entire Alvin Gursslin's family, my father being the oldest of "the boys" from my grandfather, Herman and Viona. I will communicate with my immediate family to let them know, and we will visit the cemetery now of them both together. Thank you for calling Brenda, We know Ernie enjoyed the land so much, and we wish we could have seen more of the family over the gone years. So young to leave you all behind. When driving thru Albion, Medina, West Barrie, etc, I often think about "the farm" and the fun we used to share, even if it was wrestling in the hay stack.
