Obituary of Loretta J. Koneski

Loretta J. Koneski, age 91, of Medina entered into rest peacefully at home on Saturday, May 21, 2022.

Born May 1, 1931 in Medina, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Agnes (Cotriss) Balcerzak. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, St. Mary’s Church. Mrs. Koneski worked for many years at G.C. Murphy Co. in Medina, retiring in 1994.

Mrs. Koneski is survived by two daughters, including Patricia (Mark) Eaton of Medina; siblings, Francis (late Ann) Balcerzak and Michael (Carolyn) Balcerzak; sister in-law, Patricia Balcerzak; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Leo Koneski; siblings, Donald (Nedra), Anthony Jr., Joseph (Dorothy), Mary (William) Knights, Eleanor (Robert) Rignall, Kate (William) Gunn, Leonard (Kathryn) Balcerzak and Helen (Thomas) Morien.

An hour of calling will be held on Wednesday, May 25 from 10-11 am at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15am at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Mary’s Church, 211 Eagle St., Medina.
